Cute little coffee shop that also acts as a plant store(?) It all makes sense when you enter the place, as it has a lived-in environment that makes you feel at home. From comfy couches to ample space to socialize and whatnot, what is there to complain? Everyone was chill, and it's a great way to start the morning.

We were welcomed very warmly by the shop owner, and they made us some wonderful and delicious oat iced lattes. The atmosphere was warm and cozy and the plants were a perfect touch! Tons of literature on marginalized communities including the ongoing war and genocide in Palestine and Sudan, and queer liberation was ample and everywhere. Very community focussed place and 100% the best place to spend your money if you’re socially conscious of what and who exactly you’re funding. I will happily spend more money here and tell all my friends to as well. Thank you!

Beautiful cafe, highly recommend. Wonderful ambiance, food and service. We got the Vietnamese coffee, milkshake, and peanut brittle cookies….soooo good! The plants and books just want to make you sit there forever, thank you for a great experience!

Fine Grind is a charming local café with a relaxed atmosphere and a friendly owner. It's an excellent spot to work quietly or to enjoy a conversation with the owner and others. The prices are very reasonable, and they offer delicious in-house made food and treats.

I found myself with some time to spare after an appointment downtown with my young baby and was dying for some caffeine. This was the closest place so I picked it and I was in for such a pleasant surprise. It’s cute, cozy and such a great atmosphere. If you are a leftist you will absolutely love this place. I will definitely be back. I got a vanilla latte which was reasonably priced & delicious.

Stopped in for a coffee on our trip home. I love the design of the coffee shop; the coffee was great, and to top it off, there's a super friendly guy who runs the place. If you are in the area, I would definitely stop by.

I’m so glad we stopped in on our trip! I got a delicious iced vanilla latte with oat milk. The owner was super nice. There are cool journals thats are open for anyone to write or draw in which were fun to doodle in. Apparently they have them going back 30 years since the cafe opened.

Absolutely amazing! Truly great coffee, with no funny aftertaste, and an excellent selection of drinks and eats. I cannot recommend the mocha more highly. My friend and I hunkered down at Fine Grind with some coffee and lots of homework. This place is the best spot to get caffeinated and enjoy an academic atmosphere, surrounded by books and plants, you can’t help but feel like it’s time to work on your manuscript, or atleast go through some emails. A stellar spot to get some coffee and a cactus too; will be back soon!
